Quake

Quake

The uneasy inner quake beckons toward you.

The stomach pulses with longing.

Hands shake in anticipation of your touch,

And slip while holding the memories of your face.

My heart skips and leaps, begging to become one with yours.

The throat tightens and arms search for your embrace.

My mind wonders and sees your crimson lips and porcelain skin,

and tears reach my face as my body begins to quake
